ABOUT ST IVES

St Ives has long been a well-loved tourist destination - famed for its glorious golden beaches, Mediterranean coloured sea and charming cobbled streets. In more recent years, especially since the opening of Tate St Ives, the town has enjoyed a renewed vigour in its drive to meet the needs of the present day visitor. The growth of award-winning restaurants and cafes, select boutique accommodation and a lively art scene - culminating in the September Arts Festival - meets current client expectations whilst maintaining the unique charm of St Ives. The rest of Cornwall’s visitor assets are easily accessible from St Ives. Whereas the distance from large cities keeps the pace of life and development gentle, flights from London Gatwick to Newquay Airport take an hour and a taxi or car hire transfer to St Ives about 45 minutes making a weekend visit practical.
