Swoon

(USA) Swoon has been covering the streets of New York with her signature wheat-paste cutouts for over six years. These fast-decaying images combine with their environment to create genuinely public works of art. A current major exhibition/project 'Swimming Cities Of Switchback Seas' at the prestigious Deitch Projects gallery (who regard Swoon as 'one of the most original street artists to emerge in New York during the past decade'), a recent sell-out show at Black Rat Press in London, and the acquisition of a piece by MOMA in New York, have all served to enhance her status as one of the leading contemporary street artists.
