Frost was best known for his geometric abstractions. Overlapping half-circles, rectangles, and squares of bright colors, the artist's work conveyed his enthusiasm for perceptual phenomena. This painting from 1970 employs familiar shape motifs but perhaps with a less familiar and slightly subtler palette than some of his more recognisable primary works.
